  Irene Rampino

Irene's extensive knowledge of mind-body movement techniques stems from
more than 30 years of study, along with intense and comprehensive training
under some of the top movement professionals around the world. She is well-
versed in numerous movement disciplines, including: yoga, ballet and
modern dance, tai chi, Feldenkrais®, Skinner Releasing Technique™,
GYROTONIC® Method, Pilates, Contact Improvisation, Laban &

Bartenieff Fundamentals and ideokinetics.


Irene is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association
with specialties in orthopedics and performing arts. She is proficient in
manual therapy and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Techniques and specializes
in the spine and hip. Irene holds a Master’s of Fine Arts from Tisch School of
the Arts at New York University and a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. Irene earned her Pilate’s

certification from the Polestar Institute, which specializes in applying Pilates
for rehabilitation purposes. Additionally, she is a certified ​GYROTONIC® and 
GYROKINESIS®  Master Trainer, a holistic exercising technique for people of any age and physical ability.
